Workshop 1: 11am - 12:30pm
DIAMOND LESSONS (Couple technique class) These are the most important lessons, working for all levels, beginners, intermediate, advanced. We will work on the most important structures of tango as a way of redesigning our dance and our functionality. Thinking about the comfort of dancing as a priority. Posture, Embrace, Connection, the secrets of our WAY OF WALKING, Eight forwards and backwards. The way of leading/following, melodic eights, rhythmic eights in close embrace, rolling and connecting.
Level: All Levels

Workshop 2: 2:30pm - 4pm
MILONGUERO SISTEM “1” resources for dance in a small space, figures using rebounds, full embrace, working on different music. Milonguero is not about ̈style ̈, it is about the interpretation.
Level: Intermediate/Advanced

Gala Milonga 7pm to 11pm

Come and enjoy a great workshop and performance by this brilliant couple from Argentina.
So before they arrive to Sydney they are stopping in Newcastle for one day, Friday 29th March, with workshops and a Milonga for those who fancy a tango weekend away.

Workshop 1: DIAMOND LESSONS (Couples technique class)
@ Vine Church :: Sat 30th March 11am - 12:30pm
These are the most important lessons, core for all levels, beginners, intermediate, advanced. Workshop 2: FULL CONNECTION
@ Vine Church :: Sat 30th March 2:30pm - 4pm
Resources to improve the connection in the couple, optimize fluency, divide the responsibilities of leader/follower using different connection engines. Demystify non-functional formats that block our fluidity.
Level: Intermediate/advanced

Workshop 3: SPECIAL WORKSHOPS FOR MEN/WOMEN TECHNIQUE FOR ALL LEVELS
@ Bartley Room:: Sun 31st March 11am - 12:30pm
The individual technique courses are based on creating ‘body awareness’, based on technical resources that, applied at the time of dance, will take it to a higher level. Posture, abrazo, different ways to walk, Pivots, balance, technique for Sacadas in Giro, Enrosques, Planeos, exercises to create your own sequence of Sacadas.

Workshop 4: MUSICALITY
@ Bartley Room :: Sun 31st March 2:30pm - 4pm
Definition of different musical concepts applied to dance, to be able to interpret and dance in melodic mode, rhythmic mode, applying different musical tempos - double time, Contratiempo, Sincopas, in linear movements and circulars.
Level: Intermediate/advanced

Workshop 5: MILONGA
@ Connection Studios :: Mon 1st April 11:30pm -1pm
Musicality, different types of traspiés and combination figures for social dance. Level: Intermediate/advanced

Workshop 6: VALS
@ Connection Studios :: Mon 1st April 3pm - 4:30pm
Alteraciones, musicality changes and centrifugal force in complex sequences.
Level: Intermediate/advanced
