We’ve moved from L.A. style Salsa to Puerto Rican Salsa, where the focus is on understanding more about the music and using the rhythm more confidently as part of the dance. This is a shift away from the mechanical L.A. style, where the emphasis is just dancing on time. It’s a different way of thinking about Salsa: more fluid and more grounded, and it really stands out on the dance floor!
